Hey! We’ve never been introduced. Or maybe we have been. Just play along, okay?
Welcome to NoisePicnic, a site for creative podcasts from creative people. The purpose of this site is to give the Twin Cities creative community the resources they need to create and publish their own podcasts. There is so much talent in Minnesota. Theater, storytellers, improv, stand-up, etc. We’re drowning in awesome folks. So it’s about time to bring their talent to a broader community.
We know. We’re just starting out. In fact, the only podcasts currently on the site are from the producers, Aric McKeown and Mike Fotis. But it shouldn’t be like that for long. We’re currently working with some very funny folks to get their first podcasts online. Hopefully that will happen in early September. But until then, fresh content is still being produced multiple times a week.
Anywho, stay a while. Tell your friends. Tell your coworkers. Tell your grandma. Grandpa will probably hate it.
If your interested in creating a podcast for the site, let us know. If you interesting in donating to improve our recording equipment and studio space, let us know. Sure, a room in a basement that smells slightly of cat piss makes a pretty great studio. But there might be some way to improve upon that. Maybe.

I’m pretty sure I could talk Jay into doing a podcast with me, if you’re interested. I don’t know the first thing about podcasts, though. Well, I know the first thing – I listen to them… now it’s time to learn the second thing. 🙂
